Hello Reader! My name is Lacey and this blog was formed to appease my mother. After years, and years, and a few more years of hearing “You need to write! Share your talent! Share your wit! DO SOMETHING WITH WHAT GOD GAVE YOU!” I created a blog. I ended up actually liking this whole blog thing, so here I am! And needless to say, my mother is thoroughly pleased. In fact, she’s my top commenter…

I’m a 25 year old mom to a superhero obsessed 4 year old and married to my soul mate! I know that sounds cliche’ and it is, but, he’s everything I need in a partner. He challenges me ya know? And he’s freaking gorgeous! (look at me gush…moving on)

This is My Life of Cards. I’m not talking about gambling, although sometimes it feels like I am. I play cards in my life. Everyone does. To find out more about these cards I write of, visit the “Cards of Life” Category.

A quick run down of my other categories and what they hold inside:

Living the Re-Deal, I got a second chance at life. This category holds the story of when my life changed and how I arrived at where I am today.

Present Gameplay, This category holds all of my present day musings, ramblings, rants, happenings and some serious thoughts…. Just some though.

The First Hand, My childhood was a physical challenge. I endured pain, Hopelessness, Impending death, I cried, I laughed, I fought, I persevered. And, I survived. I was healed. (It’s important while reading this category to start from the beginning)

The Players, In every game there are players. This category is my very personal tribute to all of the individuals who have supported me, played for me when I was out of hope, and encouraged me to go “all-in” and basically, they love me.  And I love them more….
